It's April 1976 and while, down in London, punk was beginning to percolate, it was still the 1950s for these Glasgow Teddy Boys.
Snapped at a rock'n'roll night at Tiffany's, the former Locarno, in Sauchiehall Street, their brothel creepered-feet were walking and dancing in the footsteps of the city's earliest rock'n'roll fans. In fact, the bloke on the far right looks as though he might have been there first time around.
And those suits, made to measure, didn't come cheap; often they'd be paid off over months on hire purchase. You just hoped your suit was still wearable by the time you'd finally cleared the bill.
Breathe deeply, and you can probably catch a whiff of Brylcreem and Old Spice...
