The Dalmore Quintessence is a true rarity for true connoisseurs and especially for collectors. Because of the 3,000 bottles that were filled with this noble elixir, just 25 are destined for the German market. What makes this Dalmore whiskey so special and a true masterpiece from the distillery? It's his special finishing . First the whiskey was matured normally in former bourbon casks. But then it received its finishing touches in barrels of five selected types of red wine. The distillate received influences from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Syrah and Pinot Noir. It's easy to imagine how nuanced and layered the end result will be with this.

The Dalmore - a taste experience with countless nuances
If you smell the Dalmore Quintessence, you will be equally impressed and overwhelmed. Because this whiskey caresses the sense of smell with a mild composition of nuts, caramel and marzipan, with notes of fine spices and wholemeal bread, fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries and last but not least with nuances of cream, vanilla and chocolate. This bouquet is an invitation for the first sip of the fine distillate, which continues its aromatic qualities on the palate in an equally complex way. Here it is nuts and roasted almonds that go hand in hand with aromas of caramel and marzipan. The fruit is also very present on the palate, with aromas of plums, apricots, raisins, cherries and currants. The fine notes of red wine come through very clearly.
